Will Smith, Jason Bateman, Charlize Theron jump to 'Hancock' sequel

hancock_290.jpgWill Smith has added another title to his to-do list of follow-ups.

Smith, who is already looking at a prequel to "I Am Legend" and a third installment in the "Bad Boys" series, has signed on for a sequel to superhero flick "Hancock," according to Variety.

Director Peter Berg told attendees of the Toronto Film Festival that Smith and co-stars Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron had agreed to reprise their roles for "Hancock 2."

While other details were scarce, Berg did let slip that the sequel would find Smith's and Theron's superpowered psuedo-gods contending with a third surviving member of their species. The first movie, released in 2008, followed Smith's Hancock, who learned from Theron that the two were part of a race of powered-up immortals whose powers fade when in close proximity to one another.

Bateman played Theron's mortal husband and Hancock's PR agent.

Wasn't the first Hancock bad enough, they have to make another one. UGH!

The first was OK, is there really a need for a sequel? Is paying for his oldest playing football with Wayne Gretsky JR and Joe Montana's son causing a falloff?

Hancock SUCKED! This one will too. Will Smith must be trying to pay off his school.

Just because you didnt understand the movie, doesn't mean it sucked.

It wasn't the best movie, but it was enjoyable. I liked it better than Superman Returns.
