Watch Disney's 'Princess and the Frog' trailer
Much has been made of Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" featuring the Mouse House's first African-American animated movie heroine, and it's a shame such superficial attention would overshadow what appears to be a lush film about... well, not judging someone by their skin.
The latest trailer for the film shows off Princess Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) and the Frog Prince (Bruno Campos) and, even better, the movie's amazing Jazz Age Louisiana setting.
Disney's latest takes the basic outlines of an old fairy tale -- princess puts aside her prejudices and kisses a frog, who turns out to be a handsome prince -- and turns it upside-down. We don't want to spoil too much, so we'll stop there (though be warned, the clip below gives it away).
