Twitter'Twilight: New Moon's Taylor Lautner talks about darker 'Eclipse'
While waiting with bated breath for "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," keep this in mind: Taylor Lautner says "Eclipse" is even more action-packed.
Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the series, told MTV the third installment will appeal more to the male demographic as well as being darker in tone. He credits new director David Slade, whose "30 Days of Night" had a markedly darker view of vampires.
The third film follows vindictive vamp villainess Victoria, who raises an army of bloodsuckers to try and destroy Edward and his human girlfriend Bella.

"New Moon" opens in theaters Nov. 20. "Eclipse," meanwhile, debuts June 30, 2010.
