I think it's safe to say that the awful Melrose redux is D.O.A. Way to go, CW, on delivering another "hit"!
When are they going to give up and get rid of The CW? It always seems to end up last in the ratings.
It is pretty clear that the network has run out of ideas when it has to try and revive two old Fox shows from the 90's: Melrose Place, and 90210.
Really, at what point do they just pull the plug on the network?
Well, here's the deal, TV watchers: YOU are determining the fate of scripted programming. YOU. And last night, there were 10 hours of reality CRAP that you chose to watch instead of two hot scripted series.
So I don't wanna hear your whining and complaining about reality TV anymore. You've made your sorry bed, and you'll have to lie in it. Soon, the networks will not even bother trying. You will get one piece of reality crap after another. And it's all because, given the choice, that's exactly what you picked and watched. You're a bunch of idiots.
As an avid fan of the original Melrose place, I really enjoyed last nights redux, as for the CW in general, still love Supernatural, can't wait for the Vampire Diaries, I agree with the poster above, if you want good quality scripted programs you have to watch, otherwise it will be reality all the time!
Saying that people need to watch the shows on the CW to help save quality scripted programming is a joke. There are no quality scripted shows on the CW.
I enjoyed the original 90210 and Melrose Place on Fox, but could not take more than 3 episodes of the CW's 90210 redux. Judging from last night's MP premiere, I can't see how this network can continue much longer.
90210 was no where near as good as it was last year. The new theme song sucks...why did they change it??? It was a waste of a show...when did it become all about Naomi? It was horrid...and what they are doing to Annie, beyond stupid. Her brother had more mood swings then any guy would ever have!

what do you mean there are no quality scripted shows on the CW?
What about "Supernatural"? We need more shows like "Supernatural"!
So how did FX's season premiere of Sons of Anarchy do?
Folks,
Dawn Ostroff's job is on the line here, as if she doesn't produce some hits for this struggling network, she's gone and out. Judging from the poor ratings of these remakes, she better hope that the ratings start to go up or she'll be joinging Ben Silverman on the outs!
Shawn - SOA did really well, in fact. 4.3 million people watched, which was the best ever for the show. It averaged 2.2 million last season for comparison.
