2009 MTV VMA video highlights
The 2009 MTV VMAs was a whirlwind of performances.
But after all the night was all about the videos, and so here are the more memorable ones...
The night started and ended with honoring Michael Jackson.
Here is the trailer of Jackson's upcoming film, "This is It." The last glimpses of the "King of Pop" doing what he did best.
And then there was the new 'New Moon' trailer introduced by Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner...
Lady Gaga had her moment to shine and did it with fake blood...
And then there was the moment of the evening courtesy of Kanye West at Taylor Swift's expense...
And then Beyonce got up on stage to show the world why West had to do such a shout-out...
And who can forget Paula?
All in all, a very eventful night. What did you think?

Beyonce (looking stupid and giggly as ever) has never come close to having the number one video. That would require talent. Gee, I thought MJ was the King of Video. Apparently, now that Kayne's mother is gone, he's forgotten how to use his manners! Hey Kayne- class is free. Why don't you stuff your pockets with some.
Kanye West made a spectacle of himself and should air an apology to Taylor Swift. She was very gracious about it, but I wish she had thought of a strong come back on the spot to embarass him right back.....I love the way MJ was honored by Madonna and all the other stars, Janet Jackson was amazing and I'm sure her legendary brother would be proud!
