'Saturday Night Live' adds Ryan Reynolds, Lady Gaga and more

ryanreynolds_ladygaga_290.jpg"Saturday Night Live" isn't letting up on the star power this season.

Only a week after announcing that U2 will be the musical guest for the show's 35th season premiere featuring Megan Fox as host on Sept. 26, NBC has revealed the names of three more hosts and their musical guests.

On Oct. 3, "The Proposal" star Ryan Reynolds will take to the stage and will hopefully dazzle us with some "Van Wilder" references. Joining him is musical guest Lady Gaga. Any bets on her singing "Poker Face"?

The following week will feature Drew Barrymore as host and Regina Spektor bringing the tunes. Barrymore makes her directorial feature debut with "Whip It," which also features "SNL's" Kristen Wiig. Spector's range of styles and vocal creativity that made "far" a fan and critical darling is a nice pairing with Barrymore's quirky charisma.

Finally, on Oct. 17, "300" star Gerard Butler will "dine in hell"... oh wait, okay he'll be very congenial and host "SNL" alongside his musical guest, she with the hips that don't prevaricate, Shakira. Her next album drops on Oct. 13. Butler next stars in "Law Abiding Citizen" and lends his voice to the upcoming "How to Train Your Dragon."

How do you like "SNL's" lineup so far? Do you think this season will actually be funny?

If SNL can put Lady Gaga as a musical guest, then they BETTER get Muse. If not, then it will show as proof that Americans have ZERO taste in music.

SNL should try to get Wonder Girls. They're the warmup band for The Jonas Brothers.

@thrice

im pretty sure muse was just on snl if not this past season 2 season ago then

lady gaga is overrated and ugly to boot. they're trying so hard to promote the Lady but it's already starting to fizzle!!

Muse has never been on SNL.

THRICE- don't let one show dictate your opinion on "Americans" musical taste. I love underground indie type shit, especially ambient. There's 300 million of us over here, not everyone has the same taste you MORON. Last I checked, the SPICE GIRLS were from the U.K. Does that mean all Brits like cheesy pop music?

Drew Barrymore was a riot last time she hosted, looking forward to that episode!!

I can't wait to see Lady gaga perform, I think people say she's overrated because they don't understand her. She is a musical prodigy. And an awesome performer. She actually can sing, she actually writes her own music and lyrics, she actually plays an instrument which makes her a completely different artist than the norm "pop" star.

@thrice
We shall see.

Não sei como é ela por aqui só sei que ela aqui ( Brasil) é muito amada e polÊmica o que me faz gostar ainda mais dela, pois tenho uma queda por pessoas doidas. kkkkk. Love-you Lady gaga
