Miley Cyrus 'Sex and the City 2' role confirmed
Yes, Miley Cyrus will make an appearance in "Sex and the City 2." No, she won't be bringing Hannah Montana to sing for Mr. Big.
Cyrus is in the current script as a cameo, according to Gossip Cop, at a scene during which Cyrus and public relations maven Samantha (Kim Cattrall) show up wearing the same dress to a red-carpet event.
Cyrus won't exercise her vaunted singing skills... or anything else related to her vocal chords: For the moment, the script just calls for the scene to be a visual gag on her part. Of course, that may change when shooting begins.
The movie has a tentative May 28, 2010, release date.

WTF? Why can't they leave Miley out of this film? She can't sing or act. She captured the hearts of children and they helped make her famous. She is nothing more than white trash. Leave Miley to Disney. Let's get some real talent for this movie.
Why did they tell us this? The charm of a surprise cameo it's that it's a surprise.
When I saw this headline, I thought "why are they ruining my SATC movie with Miley Cyrus" but this is actually kind of funny, especially since she usually dresses like she's 40 on the red carpet anyhow. But I agree with rb that this would have been better as a surprise.
It better stay nothing more than a non-speaking gag as described. I cannot stand that little twit. We don't need another Jennifer Hudson moment.
