Tonight, the new "Melrose Place" premieres on The CW at 9 p.m., and I know you're pumped to check it out.
Who killed Sydney? What was she mixed up in? Where was Michael that night? Why do he and his kid hate each other? All this is good stuff. But for me, the reason to watch "Melrose Place" is the man in the clip below.
Colin Egglesfield, whom soap fans will know as Erica Kane's aborted-fetus-that-could on "All My Children," plays Auggie on the updated version of the show, and though we won't learn much about him right off the bat, this boy is hiding something. Something huge. And it has to do with Sydney.
Colin opened up to me on the subject and, lucky for you, there was a camera to catch some of our talk on tape...

Good lord, you folks should just go ahead and change your webadress to melroseplace2it.
This moronic show will end up just like 90210 last year, the media will talk it up for WEEKS and WEEKS, no one will watch after the first week yet the site will keep talking about it like we care. Gossip Girl, 90210, One Tree Hill....all those type shows that never have substantive viewerships but the media seems to think we give a crap about them.
Korbi - I used to love your site, but lately it seems all you cover is 90210, SYTYCD, and Melrose. Any chance we can get some scoop on any of the other shows out there? (Personally I'd like to see Glee, Fringe, and/or Warehouse 13 :o)
Folks, it is not Korbi's fault (or any columnist that I might have complained on)- she takes the assignments she is given and apparently Zap2It stretches it out as long as possible.
We need to start complaining to Zap2it directly.
After a week of non-stop Melrose (which is a bit unfortunate but I guess it's "buzz-worthy"?!) we finally get to the only cast member I care about. Hope we see the follow-up video on "Drinking with the Stars"!
An Alive Sydney would make a better show. This will lose viewers once Syd is only seen in the past tense
You guys can't speak for everybody, tons of people love that show and korbi's coverage, and of course it's gonna get a lot of hype as it's leading up the premiere, and they're getting a lot of web traffic due to covering it a lot since it is buzzworthy and new, so it's a smart business decision to cover melrose place. What's with people trashing shows they're not even a part of? Are you guys in the tv business or just disgruntled sci fi geeks that worship crap like joss whedon's crap? Hmmm....
