Kelly Osbourne beams on 'Dancing With the Stars'

kellyosbourne_louisvanamstel_dancingwiththestars_s9_290.jpgWho would have thought Kelly Osbourne would wow the judges and become the breakout star on "Dancing With the Stars"? The dance floor is a great equalizer.

Ozzy Osbourne's daughter got past her awkward footwork and wild child image to present one of the most surprising and elegant Viennese waltzes of Tuesday night.

Although Joanna Krupa and her partner Derek Hough received a higher score (by one point) for their salsa, Sharon Osbourne crying after the dance and Kelly running to hug her dad made the the whole experience that much more touching and triumphant.

Check out Kelly's dance:

I wasn't going to be that catty (*ahem*), but I have to agree. Kelly Osbourne actually held my attention for more than a few seconds, which I didn't think would ever be possible. Kudos to her, and I hope she goes far on the show.

I wonder how long before she starts doing NutriSystem commercials and proclaims she lost all the weight from eating that junk food..and never mentioning the hours of exercise from dancing as being the true contributor.

The hi-light of last nights episode

Way to go Kelly! I was rooting for her before the show even started. I watched from the 1st show the Osbournes and I enjoy all that the family has to offer our world. Kelly didn't shatter any of my preconceived notions. Somehow I knew she'd be good on the show, and hope she continues and doesn't get injured. I also really dig the genuine family tears hugs and kisses that my own pitiful life lacks. Call me crazy!

I somehow knew Kelly was going to be good on the show. I hope she is consistent and doesn't get injured. I know if she stays on she'll improve. And I enjoy the genuine tears, hugs and kisses from the family.
