jessicaalba_290.jpgJessica Alba, star of the hilarious "Fantastic Four" flicks, may go laugh-free for "Little Fockers."

Wait, the "Fantastic Four" movies were dramas and "Meet the Fockers" was a comedy? Huh. Anyway, Alba is in talks to co-star in the third of Ben Stiller's awkward-family movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

If she signs on, the actress would play an attractive distraction, presumably to Stiller's new father Gaylord Focker. Filming is scheduled to begin later this winter.

-- John C. Reilly is teaming up with Ed Helms for a very small-town version of Helms' "The Hangover." Reilly has signed on to "Cedar Rapids," an independent comedy in which small-towner Helms is summoned to a conference in the titular big city.

Reilly will play a family man who decides what happens in Cedar Rapids stays in Cedar Rapids.

Why anyone wold want to cast non-actress Jessica Alba is beyond me. She kills every feature she's the lead of and as part of an ensemble, she forces the rest of the cast to carry her lack of acting skills.
