'House': Season 6 starts tonight & David Shore is talking...

This was my second one-on-one interview with "House" executive producer, David Shore, regarding tonight's season premiere -- I think the first one went far better -- but we're touching on a couple new things: Was there any concern about doing a two-hour opener without the rest of the regular cast? Why did they go there? And will we see House differently after what he goes through behind the walls of this mental institution?

For the record, you should know that though Cuddy, Cameron, Chase, Foreman, Taub & Thirteen are totally M.I.A. tonight, this TV movie of sorts is so worth watching. The writing is fantastic, House is funny as hell right from the start (well, once he gets past his night sweats) and I'm so curious to hear what you think of the romantic relationship that forms between him and Franka Potente's character.

So, yes, please watch tonight and then come back and comment your thoughts...

Mr Shore is full of crap sometimes. I mean hello? You want to show us House being vulnerable and you do it with a complete stranger, when you had millions of chances to do it with the woman he actually wants? Seriously?? i will start wondering where do these people find their brains... IF they do...

Can't wait to see House's romance with Franka Potente's character, it's going to be so refreshing! Huddy bored the hell out of me. And a completely new start will be good for House.

I'm so excited to see House's romance with Lydia. I'm excited for the things it will help us learn about House, and help us infer about House and Cuddy, but mostly, I just love to see House in love. And, if Lydia loves House, then there's got to be much to love about her, as well.

I really can't wait!

I couldn't be more thrilled to see House with someone other than Cuddy! I can't stand that NOmance and wish the writers would just let it go. It's a shame Franka is only going to be around for the premiere. At least as the season continues we'll get to see more of House and Wilson.

WHY are you putting videos on non-videos site?????? I only have dial-up and I can't watch the videos. If you're going to continue to do this, will you at least PRINT what was said? Same with the Chase video.....GRRRRRR!
Thanks! :)

I hope the rest of the season is written with higher standards, otherwise, I'm afraid I'm out. The plot and key scenes were unrealistic and over dramatized - I mean, how plausible is it that they let crazy-hero-guy carry around that music box for a week such that precisely on the day House apologizes, the 'miracle' unfolds. By the end I was really hoping to find out that this was all a dream, or better yet, I was hoping to see Amber and Kutner on either side of house on the bus in the last scene. Then again, I guess that's out given Kal Penn's career choices. I'm disappointed that the hallucinations plot line got shorted to this end and I miss the old House who made his own luck instead of magically finding it. Here's hoping it gets better though. Good luck.
