Too bad Izzie is getting rid of her colorful scarves. We were hoping for a pirate look for an upcoming "Grey's Anatomy" episode. Arr!

Since Izzie is a cancer survivor, it appears she's getting wiggy with it:
ABC has revealed that the Oct. 1st episode revolves around Izzie's return to work after her near-death experience and the Seattle Grace residents hoping to survive workplace layoffs.
The new season of "Grey's Anatomy" will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 24.
What do you think of Izzie's new hair? It makes her look older and a bit more serious, right? Do you miss the blond?

Bald, brown, blonde, green..she is still gorgeous. No fair.
It kind of looks like Meredith's hair. You know, I too lost my hair due to illness. But my 50 dollar wig looked more real that hers does. And I doubt even her prop wig cost 50 bucks.
She's one of my all-time favorites, but I don't like the hair. She's too pretty to wear her hair that plain, wig or no wig.
Agree with Mandy - Bald, brown, blonde, green - she's still gorgeous... Am really glad she didn't join J.R.Knight to exit the show.
She looks great, but I think the blonde was more "her". Also, newer viewers may have trouble distinguishing between her and Meredith, and that's never good,

Going through chemo right now, I was actually searching for information on the scarves Izzy wore. The last thing I wanted to see were pirate jokes. Grow up and have some compassion- what this character went through is real life that extends far beyond tv drama.
