George Clooney lookin' 'Fox'-y in 'Fantastic' poster

George Clooney is such a fox, he's even decided to let his foxiness shine through with stop-motion animation.

In "Fantastic Mr. Fox" Clooney lends his voice to the titular canine in the big-screen adaptation of the beloved Roald Dahl book.

In the story, Mr. Fox earns the hatred of three stinky and wealthy farmers when he steals their poultry to feed his family. The trio decide to lay in wait for him at the opening of his foxhole, which only makes him more sly -- like a fox.

Besides Clooney, the voice cast includes Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, Owen Wilson and Jason Schwartzman.

"Fantastic Mr. Fox" is the latest children's novel by Dahl that has been adapted for the screen, including "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "James and the Giant Peach," "Mathilda" and "The Witches." Frankly, we'd love to see "Danny Champion of the World" get the silver-screen treatment as well. Poaching and pheasants!
