Casey Wilson not too fat for 'Saturday Night Live'
Casey Wilson wants to dispel the rumor that she got the boot from "Saturday Night Live" for being too fat.
"I had an amazing time on 'SNL,' and these rumors are completely untrue," Wilson tells People. "And to clarify, the issue isn't that I'm too fat, it's that I'm too phat. Can I get a WHAT-WHAT!"
It was reported earlier that "SNL" producers told Wilson, 28, to lose 30 pounds, and when she returned from summer hiatus the same weight, she was fired. A rep for the show denies these reports.
Take a look at Wilson for yourself:

Frankly, we're not thrilled about hearing this rumor, especially when there are real obesity issues in America. Naturally the entertainment industry puts value on appearance, but we don't think Wilson even comes close to fat. This is the same thing that happened when some of the "Dancing With the Stars" pros and Jessica Simpson put on a little weight.

Looks like NBC is the Biggest Loser!
This still doesn't tell us why she's no longer on the show.
What are you talking about? She's (and has always been) really hot, by any standard.
she looks fine to me anybody that thinks she has a weight problem needs an ass beating
Gee, I wonder if her getting fired had anything to do with the fact that she was about as funny as a cancer diagnosis?
She looks fine to me.
That pic makes a good argument, but when was it taken? That isn't what Wilson looked like the last time I saw her on SNL (or the last time I saw her period). I'm not saying she was ever what I'd call "fat" on SNL, but she also didn't look like the pic.
If you're gonna stand up for her weight, at least post a current pic. It's kinda disingenuous to slam rumors about her being fired over weight issues, then choosing a pic that is at least over a year old. She didn't get let go last May. In fact, she got HIRED at the weight she's at in that pic.
Kennan is going to have to go if being fat is a reason to be fired.
I am so tired of hearing about fat. Don't we have anything else to talk about in this country? If there is an afterlife, God is sure going to wonder why we focused so much on FAT and criticizing those who have an extra few pounds. Geesh.
i don't see why you would have to be skinny to be on SNL?? i mean the ppl on that show are certainly not chosen based on their good looks....
