'Buffy' star Sarah Michelle Gellar welcomes baby girl

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Sarah Michelle Gellar has given birth to another slayer.

Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. became the parents of a baby girl on Saturday, Sept. 19, reports People.

The family is reportedly "over the moon" for their first child, Charlotte Grace Prinze.

Gellar, 32, and Prinze Jr., 33, met on the set of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and have been married since 2002.

Freddie Prinze Jr. stars on the upcoming season of "24" set in New York.

Other "Buffy" alums have also recently been ushered into the joys of parenthood. "How I Met Your Mother's" Alyson Hannigan and husband Alexis Denisof welcomed a baby girl Satyana in March. David Boreanaz, who currently stars in "Bones," became a dad to daughter Bardot earlier this month.

Yes! A celebrity couple gives their newborn a normal, non-embarrassing name.

Yes---I do think Charlotte is a lovely name & may she live a wonderful life. Unfortunately in a not too distant past, girls named Charlotte were serenaded by boys w/the old bar song Charlotte the Harlot. So, don't celebrate so fast Queenie. Because having a unique name is so awful when it's so much better to be Jennifer891,727 & Jessica 403,584.

Never heard of "Charlotte the Harlot" (wut?!!), as i suspect most ppl haven't!

Anyway, i was thinking the same thing as Queen, finally a celeb couple gives their baby a non-crazy name. Charlotte Grace is lovely, kudos. & congrats.
