'V' lands on ABC in November; Elizabeth Mitchell will be back on 'Lost'
The alien invasion of "V" will begin a little earlier than we thought. The show's cast and producers announced Saturday that the remake of the 1980s miniseries will premiere at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3. It will slide into the spot that "Shark Tank" is occupying early in the season.
ABC had initially slated the show for midseason, but the pilot has earned some positive early buzz and was moved up to late fall.
The other news out of the "V" session is that the show's star, Elizabeth Mitchell, will in fact be making her way back to "Lost" for its final season. In response to a question about whether she had "kaboomed [herself] with the bomb" in "Lost's" season finale, Mitchell said she will be "traveling to Hawaii more than once" to work on the show's last season.
That's about all she could say about "Lost," including whether her character, Juliet, survived the explosion. All she would give up on that front is that "as with all things on 'Lost,' it'll be very tricky."
On "V," Mitchell plays an FBI agent who's first skeptical of the alien visitors and eventually becomes a leader of the resistance.

Whoot! She is such a great actress, I'm looking forward to seeing the new V!
I am so glad Juliet will be part of the final season of Lost. It would not be right for her to not be there. Also, I loved the original V; I'm hoping this one is good as well.
Zap2it, thanks for spoiling. Front page - headline spoiler. Appreciate it.
CW: That is not a spoiler at all, she announced that on public and all other sites published that news because it was not about keeping a secret anyway plus she never said what the character's fate is, she could return as part of a flash back.
she only said she would be filming for LOST. she didn't say if her character would be dead or alive!!
Yippeee...!! V is FINALLY back...!!!! Loved the original mini-series (BOTH of them) and was disappointed when they chucked the weekly show at the end of the 1st season - am blaming the writers for that, taking V in a weird direction. Then, for years, there were rumors - several of them - of a resurrection of the mini-series, but it never came to fruition. Can't wait for it to actually be here - just keep my fingers crossed that it has GOOD writers, who take the show into the same vein as the originals - so it'll work, and last more than just one season. Am putting Nov.3 on my calendar...!!! Thanks, ABC.

Or even as a ghost, or whatever it is Jack's dad is.
