'Survivor's' Richard Hatch jailed after 'Today' show appearance
Richard Hatch is in trouble, possibly for doing a "Today" show interview with Matt Lauer on Tuesday. The "Survivor" winner/tax evader had already returned to his sister's home in Newport, RI, where he was under house arrest when authorities arrived to take him into custody and then later transferred him to Barnstable County Correctional Facility in Bourne, Mass., reports AccessHollywood.com.

Although an immediate reason wasn't given, Hatch's sister Kristin thinks it has something to do with granting the interview.
"I heard [the sheriff] tell Rich that he did an interview, and that's why he was going back to prison," Hatch's sister said on Wednesday's "Today" show.

Hatch's attorney Cynthia Ribas claims her client secured clearance from the Federal Bureau of Prisons to do interviews with "Today," "Access Hollywood," local NBC affiliate WJAR-TV in Providence and radio station WPRO-FM.
On "Today," Hatch said he suspected he was the target of discrimination in court during his tax evasion trial because he's gay.
Hatch, who spent more than three years in jail for tax evasion, was grateful for being released to home confinement with his sister in May, even though he had to wear a monitoring device.
In his "Access Hollywood" interview with Tony Potts aired Tuesday night, Hatch said, "I'm restricted still with this thing on my leg, but I could be in a worse place."

whatever... borrrrrrrrring story. he is so 2000 and late.
Richard Hatch is under the deluded impression that he still matters. He doesn't. Somebody needs to inform NBC of this fact, as well.
NBC is so behind. like anyone cares about him, CBS or NBC. Its all about, bravo and abc.
yeah, someone please tell him LWFC. hasn't he caught a clue by now??
Perhaps Mr Hatch remembered that he could get free sex in prison and wanted back in. If he's off the streets (and TVs) of America that's a good thing
I think jail is a good place for you.
Death to all infidels, heathens, barbarians, Crusaders, Richard Hatches and allother "lutis" (Iraqui gays)and US of A Marines...!!! allahu ahkbar!!!
Why are we allowing these issues to constantly pop up! Why is it that when a criminal like richard hatch gets caught automatically it's just being anti gay, uh no it's because you broke the law and we caught you gay, white, black, or pink.. the law is the law. Iam so sick and tired of the aclu constantly fighting these rediculous causes, truth be told it makes me want to be less tolerant. Do you see a criminal say "Oh I'm straight that's why i'm going to jail!" I'm so tired of always that people use their race or gender preference for bate,,ur guilty because you Broke the law and you deserve to be in prison and it's not for any other reason, don't use anything else!
richard hatch is a player, a bad one at it! He's upset because the IRS caught him just like they catch other criminals! How dare you say that the system was discriminating you! We are not as ignorent or arrogent as you are Richard Hatch!
