Simon Cowell judging three more years of 'American Idol'
There is one year left on Simon Cowell's "American Idol" contract and it looks like he is in the stages of finalizing a two-year extension. Sources say he'll be going from $36 million a year to $45 million a year, which is not that far off from the rumors he pooh-poohed not too long ago. We reported that he was in the works to make between $100 million and $145 million to stick around for three more years. Well, he's doing two more years (past his already-set contract) at $45 million, which is $90 million. If he signed on for a third year after that at the same rate, he'd be at $135 million, so the $100-$145 million range was pretty close.

Wow, I cant imagine having that much money. But, I guess they don't want to lose Simon.
He'll be there but will the show?
that is just sick.

Unbelievable. Now this show is becoming nothing more than all about the judges and now about evaluating talent. This is disgraceful! Hoping this show finally tanks and they can take this garbage off the air once and for all!
OVER-PAID. for the Idol crapfest that someday will be seen as the over-rated stink that it is. someday america will wake up. i hope!
