Seth Rogen's 'Simpsons' will kick off the season
Seth Rogen, Anne Hathaway, Jonah Hill and Neve Campbell will be among the guest voices on "The Simpsons" this season, with Rogen leading off the season on Sept. 27.
Rogen, who's currently starring in "Funny People," also co-wrote the season premiere, which is called "Homer the Whopper." The episode features Homer landing the lead role in "Everyman," a movie based on a superhero created by Comic Book Guy. But Homer is Homer, so the movie's producers hire a celebrity trainer (voiced by Rogen) to get him into fighting shape.
Hill, Rogen's "Funny People," "Superbad" and "Knocked Up" co-star, will play a former Springfield Elementary student hailed as the school's greatest prank-puller ever in a future episode called "Pranks and Greens." Campbell will harken back to her days on "The Craft" to play a Wiccan who's accused of blinding the whole town in "Rednecks and Broomsticks."
Hathaway, meanwhile, will play an actress on the "Krusty the Clown Show" whom Krusty falls for in an episode called "Once Upon a Time in Springfield." Jackie Mason will also reprise his role as Rabi Herschel Krustofsky in the episode, which also features voice work by the late Eartha Kitt.
The season will also feature guest appearances by NFL stars Peyton and Eli Manning, Sarah Silverman, Bob Costas, Angela Bassett and Chuck Liddell.
FOX will also run a "Simpsons" scavenger hunt in some of its other shows the week of Nov. 9. "Simpsons"-related clues will pop up on "Lie to Me," "House," "So You Think You Can Dance," "Bones" and "Fringe," pointing viewers to a big prize.

this episode was supposed to be on last year
but its a good way to start the season
Remember NBC when you had a show with Rogen on & you canceled it? Don't worry looks like this Rogen guy isn't going to do much.
looking forward to the new season, as always...
