'Scrubs' star Sarah Chalke, 'The Office's Amy Ryan pregnant

The sitcom world is getting a little larger.

"Scrubs" star Sarah Chalke and "The Office's" Amy Ryan are both preggers, according to the trades. Chalke and entertainment lawyer fiance Jamie Afifi will welcome a little one into the world this winter, while Ryan and comedy writer fiance Eric Slovin are due in October.

Chalke played Dr. Elliott Reed for that show's first eight seasons. Though she'll no longer be a regular moving forward, Chalke has signed on to guest star when the series moves to medical school.

Ryan, meanwhile, played kooky human resources manager Holly Flax during a guest run on "The Office." She was also an Oscar nominee for the 2007 movie "Gone Baby Gone."
