Roundup: La Toya Jackson and her brothers, Don Cheadle's 'Madness'
La Toya Jackson and Barbara Walters will be virtually inseparable on ABC in September. The network says Jackson has committed to her first in-depth TV interview since her brother Michael's death. Walters will conduct the interview, which is set to air on "20/20" Friday, Sept. 11. The network promises a "no-holds-barred" talk, with topics including her relationship with Michael, his children and why she believes Michael was murdered (the L.A. County coroner's office has ruled the singer's death a homicide).
A few days after the interview, Jackson will serve as a guest co-host of Walters' morning show, "The View." Jackson is scheduled to sit in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who's on maternity leave, on Sept. 16 and 18.
In other Jackson family news, A&E has decided to go ahead with a series featuring Michael's brothers.
The cable channel shot an hour-long pilot featuring Marlon, Randy, Tito and Jermaine Jackson brothers earlier this year. At the time, the idea was to follow the former members of the Jackson 5 as they prepared for a reunion tour.
Following Michael's death, A&E made the decision to follow the brothers as they deal with the loss, as well as "issues in their own lives," according to The Hollywood Reporter's Live Feed blog.
Footage from the original pilot was leaked to "Entertainment Tonight," which plans to air it Tuesday.
FX is continuing its development binge with a drama pilot set in the world of college basketball and executive produced by Don Cheadle.
The project is called "March to Madness" and will focus on a college team that wants to win by any means necessary. Former sportswriter Joel Silverman, who wrote the hoops-themed TV movie "Full-Court Miracle," is penning the script, Variety reports, and Peter Segal ("Get Smart," "The Longest Yard") is set to direct.
FX has picked up three new comedy series ("Archer," "The League" and "Louie") and a drama ("Lawman") in recent weeks in an effort to refresh its lineup of originals. It also has two other drama pilots, "Lights Out" and "Terriers," in development.

I think all thet is fake
She's probably crying over who's going to pick up the tab on that $200k car that she drives as well as her plastic surgery. She better start playing nice with Janet at least until Mommy gets her fingernails on the inheritance
In my opinion, Michael was murdered. There is so much more to his death. There are likely some "big" players involved. I agree that there was "allegedly" a conspiracy against Michael Jackson that was brought forth to lead to his untimely death. Furthermore, I have a very bad feeling about what transpired.
Latoya, if you see my message, my heart goes out to you and the family. God Bless you all. Best wishes on the interview. I agree with you completely. Please keep pushing for answers. Love and ((((Hugs)))).
Geesh do any of these loser Jacksons have their own noses?
They are all so far distanced from reality it's scarey. Sadly we're going to be stuck with them for awhile with the media circus continuing on over MJ.
interesting - MJ's death is LaToya's big break. No one's ever wanted this no-talent as a guest and now old-as-the-hills Baba Wawa is falling over her Depends to sign her. ya just gotta laugh about it all
honestly, i don't think (most) ppl really like Barbara Walters...we watch sometimes to see the guest or topic DESPITE that annoying lady, not because of her. but then she thinks it's because of her? geesh.
Latoya has always been the only one in the family with any personality in an interview. The rest of the family whispers like pre-pubescent teens in interviews and never answer questions. She speaks her mind and it is no wonder she was right all along about the Drs. dealing drugs to a drug addict. I look forward to Toy's stint on The View and 20/20.
