Robin Wright Penn deems divorce a good idea after all

With summer coming to a close, perhaps Robin Wright Penn is feeling a little nostalgia ... for legal separation.
On Aug. 12, the acclaimed actress has filed for divorce -- yes again -- from her husband Sean Penn, reports People.
Sound familiar? Both parties have filed for divorce from each other before ... and then withdrew the petitions.

This time around, Robin is citing "irreconcilable differences," is not seeking spousal support, will divide all property and will share custody with Sean over their minor son, 16-year-old Hopper Jack.
The couple, married in 1996, also have a daughter, 18-year-old Dylan Frances.
