Renee Zellweger fine after car crash
Renee Zellweger is okay after a minor car accident that wasn't her fault. The Oscar winner walked away unscathed when another car ran into her car in Beverly Hills Monday morning, reports People.
"A green Ford Explorer made an illegal U-turn in front of her silver Mercedes," Lieut. Tony Lee tells the celeb mag. "Ms. Zellweger was not injured, the damage to her car was very minor. She was very polite and sincere."
The respective parties' insurance companies will handle the matter. Zellweger's car was towed from the scene, and she left by cab.
Zellweger, 40, currently stars in "My One and Only."

"the damage to her car was very minor."
"Zellweger's car was towed from the scene"
Hummm...something fishy here. A car with 'very minor' damage doesn't need to be towed.
Miss Big Shot driving her Mercedes and wondering if there is more to this story than is being reported. What an absolutely horrible actress and human being to boot!
I love Renee Zellweger.
I'm glad she's okay.
I don't see what the point of the story is. Not here, because I know it came from People. I'm just wondering why it counted as a story over at People. If she was hospitalized, or even in the wrong, it might be different. I just don't see why minor car accident is note-worthy.
This story is slightly WRONG!!!!
Ms. Zellweger was NOT driving any sort of a "car." She was driving a monster-sized TRUCK, specifically, a Mercedes-Benz G-Class monstrosity, specifically a G-55 AMG that Mercedes claims is capable of achieving 11MPG in city driving, so it probably gets 8MPG or 9MPG, tops. Heck, what can one expect for the base price of only $119,450.00, anyhow?
Boy, oh boy. Truth be told, I like her even less now than before, because she was by herself in a monster-sized Safari truck far better suited to transport entire tribes in the Kalahari desert.
I guess Ms. Renée Zellweger had never heard the word "environment" and "protection" used together, and she must believe that as a movie star, it is her God-given right to drive the biggest damn gas guzzler ever unleashed on Mankind. Heck, her truck is two heads TALLER than she is!
Did I mention that the Mercedes truck she was trying to navigate is one God-awful creature? Earth to Renée: that monster truck of yours was NOT really meant to be driven on short-haul shopping trips down Rodeo drive, girl!
