Paula Abdul to host 'VH1 Divas' next month

The wonderful Paula Abdul has been using Twitter again to communicate her post-"American Idol" plans. This time she is set to host "VH1 Divas" in September, which will feature Idol alums Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks.
About 9 hours ago, Paula tweeted, "Hi guys! im really excited 2 announce ill b hosting this year's "Vh1 Divas"!The show will be live on Sept 17th @ 9 pm EST ... This year's VH1 Divas show will honor Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus- I am so excited!!"
So Paula finally has some plans cemented after the giant "American Idol" debacle. Is this what she was talking about the other day when she said she "has something lined up?"
I'm sure she has plenty of time to host "Divas" and still be back for the Hollywood round of American Idol. And it's win-win because VH1 really needs to start rehabbing their image, methinks.

Wow they have ran out of true Divas for this show and are really scrimping the bottom of the trash can now if they consider Clarkson and Hannah Montana as one. I remember this series from years ago when they would honor true legends.
And, the fact that Abdul is hosting this new one is reason enough to not watch.
I could only save Adele or Leona here...!! though they are way to newbies to be called Divas!

Miley Cyrus a DIVA??? Talk about scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Make sure you get the pole ready VH-1 cause she needs it.
Leona and Kelly are great singers but I don't see them as divas yet. They can be rising icons cause surely Keri Hilson isn't one.
