La Toya Jackson eyes 'Dancing With the Stars'
Michael Jackson's sister La Toya may return to the spotlight during primetime.
La Toya, a pop artist in her own right who had minor hits in the '80s, is reportedly in "serious discussions" to join "Dancing With the Stars" next season, according to Us magazine.
"She's a big fan of the show, and being from a musical family, it would be a good fit," her rep says.
Say what you will (like doesn't La Toya look eerily like Charo here?), but the Jackson family has distinguished themselves with their dance skills.

I would like to see her on DWTS this fall. I've never seen her sing or dance with any of the Jacksons and I'm curious to see if she has the rhythm and talent that Joe Jackson claims all the Jackson children possess. Plus, I think this will be a great way for her to channel some energy in a positive direction while greiving the loss of her brother. She'll have all the love and support of millions of fans and the other contestants. Maybe, if she wants to, if she gets to, she can dance to the beat of a Michael Jackson cl***ic as a tribute to him. I can just see her doing a rhumba to " I Just Can't Stop Loving You," or a Tango to "Dirty Diana."

LOL! Yes, she does look like Charo in this pic. I don't recall her having any actual talent back in the day which is why she posed naked for a men's mag for attention. She is a Jackson in name only, really, talent-wise. Maybe she's taken lessons since then. Don't really care.
La Toya Jackson is the same as the one Marx Brother that nobody can ever remember (Groucho, Harpo, Zeppo, Chico and...). Why she continues to put herself out there, when most people just yawn at her, is beyond me.

WTH The highest paid person on the Jackson's payroll isn't their Dr. It's their plastic surgeon. Is there anyone within that family that still has their natural face?

It's a shame it took Mikes death for the media/public to recognize there are other talented members in this family. I think LaToya would be great. She is the only Jackson with any personality and her new album Startin Over is a fantastic showcase of her vocals, writing and production style. Dancing With The Stars would be a great opportunity to show off her dancing skills as well. Janet with her Minnie Mouse voice, sexual lyrics and prepubescent whispering in interviews is a manufactured bore. The producers know Toy is a celebrity who will bring in viewers. I hope she accepts their offer, and I'll be watching eagerly each week.
