Joss Whedon: Angel could take 'Twilight's' Edward in vampire smackdown

"Angel" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" creator Joss Whedon doesn't think much of "Twilight" lead vamp Edward Cullen.
"I think Robert Pattinson is really cool. Angel would kick the s*** out of him. He's Angelus," Whedon tells MTV News. "There's no Edward Cullunus. He just gets shiny in the sun. Boreanaz would have him down in a heartbeat. No offense, cause he's hot."
Whoa Joss, them's fightin' words.

Whatever, Edward would kick Angel's butt. Angel may be bigger, but Angel can be in the sunlight, Edward can. Ha Ha gotcha on that one.
Those of you who think Edward could beat Angel are delusional. That pretty-boy pansy would be down in an instant against Angel, and then Spike could go in for the kill... and he's enjoy it.

Wow. I feel so much better knowing that Joss, too, feels the crack-like influence of Twilight. But he's totally right. Angel would kick Edward's a**. Hands down.
