Look, George is dead. So Seattle Grace has a funeral to attend. There will be grief to work through. And Izzie's still got that whole cancer thing going on. Also, it seems as though the Chief might have finally reached his limit. Like, for real this time. The mood is so grave that even Christina may be forced to turn to another human being -- besides Meredith -- for emotional support.
All this can be gleaned from the new promo ABC just put out, but perhaps you'll notice a few more details about what's to come this fall on "Grey's"...

Anyone that can say something like "I am no longer a Grey's fan" OBVIOUSLY never really was a Grey's fan, but was merely a show watcher. True fans wouldn't dump because someone like George was killed off or a Dead Denny hoorah. Real fans would want to see how a story played out for the rest of the characters. They would want to see WHY there was a Denny ghost or would want to know what new characters would be introduced to the show after one left. I am personally anxious to see the new people on the show and how that will change the current characters they interact with. I guess that's what seperates the fans from the spectators.

or, maybe it just separates the fans who can recognize when the show no longer delivers from those pathetic ones who just can't let go or those who are so dumb that they don't know the difference!! :)
