'Grey's Anatomy' casts 'Traveling Pants 2' actor
"Grey's Anatomy" is adding another piece of man candy to its cast.
Jesse Williams, who co-starred in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2," has joined the ABC series for a multiple-episode hitch. Details on his character are scant, but The Hollywood Reporter describes him as a "sexy, confident new medical professional."
Williams played Leo -- the model who has a fling with Lena (Alexis Bledel) -- in "Traveling Pants 2." He's also guest-starred on "Greek" and "Law & Order" and has two movies due for release in the coming months: Director Antoine Fuqua's "Brooklyn's Finest," which is scheduled for November, and the Joss Whedon-Drew Goddard horror movie "Cabin in the Woods," which hits theaters in February.
In other casting news, Matthew Levy has joined FOX's midseason comedy "Sons of Tucson," the HR notes. The 15-year-old will play the oldest of three brothers who hire a guy (Tyler Labine) to pose as their dad while their real father is in prison.
The show begins filming next month and is slated to premiere in early 2010.
