'Gossip Girl' Pics: Michelle Trachtenberg and Kelly Rutherford need to talk to wardrobe
TwitterFirst we were going to write a peppy little blog post about how Michelle Trachtenberg was photographed Wednesday (Aug. 12) on the set of "Gossip Girl" in New York and how it's great that we'll get to see Georgina so early in the season before Michelle has to go off and be on the not-nearly-as-fun NBC series "Mercy."
But then we took a gander at the accompanying photograph and all happy thoughts were replaced with: "What is she wearing?"
We decided to put our post on the back burner while we tried to make sense of it all, only to come across this picture of Kelly Rutherford also from the "Gossip Girl" set on Wednesday:

Yeah. We're at a loss. It's not just us though, is it? Those are the most unflattering, ill-fitting dresses ever, right?

Michelle looks fat!!!
Yeah, me and 200-some other journalists saw Michelle in person at Summer TV Press Tour last week. She is not remotely fat. That photo/dress combo is doing her no favors.

Having said that, did this same Brill Bundy character yesterday post a perfectly normal pic of Mischa Barton and hint that she's fat? And then we get the explanation that Trachtenberg's fiasco above is NOT fat?
Give me a break. Credibility slipping faster than Obama's favor ratings.
So what if they do photo posts? I don't see a sign anywhere that says they can't. And there's a big difference between Mischa (who is supposed to be playing a model) having been photographed for the past several months looking out of shape and one bad photo of someone else.
Folks chill out. Yes, I get testy when there is another Speidi post, or another Mischa's in trouble post. However, this isn't a photo post, this is actually a spoiler post! Apparently these fugly dresses will be worn on the show - hence a spoiler! Trying to figure out if these clothes are meant to be bad or not - that is the speculation.
