Elizabeth Banks pencils in 'Next Three Days'
Elizabeth Banks is getting serious.
Banks, whose resume tends toward comedies including "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," is in negotiations to co-star in Russell Crowe's "The Next Three Days." The plot follows a man (Crowe) whose wife (Banks, presumably) is accused of murder.
Did she really do it? He apparently doesn't think so, and plots to spring her from the pokey.
Banks last got dramatic for the pyschological thriller "The Uninvited." Crowe, meanwhile, will pull on tights for a remake of the classic tale "Robin Hood."
