Britney Spears will receive the Ultimate Choice Award at the Teen Choice 2009 awards, airing on FOX on Monday, Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The surfboard awards are the pinnacle of what's popular among teens, and the Ultimate Choice Award is a nod to her comeback and continued relevance.
Spears will receive the award after returning from the European leg of her Circus tour.
Adding to the musical mix for the night is Sean Kingston, who will perform his single "Fire Burning" on the program.
