Audrina Patridge says she's quitting 'The Hills'

audrinapatridge_thehills_02_290.jpgAudrina Patridge says she's about to become the latest cast member to run from MTV's "The Hills."

Patridge says she's "almost done" with the MTV show, which begins its new season on Sept. 29.

"We're in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I'll be leaving then," she told Us Weekly over the weekend at a junket for her movie "Sorority Row." "It feels like I'm graduating. I'm taking the next step and growing up and maturing and moving on in my life."

Patridge, 24, says she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career, and now that several years on "The Hills" has helped her become "comfortable in front of the cameras," she's ready to take up that side of her career again. She's also working on a reality show with "Survivor" producer Mark Burnett; MTV has ordered a pilot.

Original "Hills" star Lauren Conrad left the show at the end of last season, and Whitney Port is being followed by cameras on "The City." Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are still around, of course, and the show will try to refresh this season with the addition of former "Laguna Beach" star Kristin Cavallari.
