'American Idol' guest judge Victoria Beckham "icy and wooden"
A source close to the "American Idol" production crew told several websites that Victoria Beckham came across as "icy and wooden" during her guest-judging stint.According to the source, Beckham was "trying too hard to be nice," which seems counterintuitive to me. Wouldn't "icy and wooden" be about the last things you would be if you were trying super hard to be nice? I don't know.
It's disappointing to hear she didn't do so well because she seemed so excited about the judging gig. Earlier in the week, Victoria was quoted as saying, "I just couldn't believe it. I feel like I got the best job that there is. I'm still grinning from ear to ear. I'm going to try hard to pout and not shatter the illusion that I'm a moody cow, but I don't know if I can - I'm just so happy."

Sounds like a train-wreck.
I agree, she is moody, I am going to miss Paula
SHE ALWAYS SEEMS TO HAVE A STICK UP HER A** TO ME ALTHOUGH I DO NOT KNOW HER PERSONALLY THAT JUST SEEMS TO BE WHO SHE IS COLD.
The only Beckham I care about plays 3rd base for The White Sox.
i love how America doesn't give a rat's a$$ about this pretentious two-bit hack!! and hubby David too!!
Again, I have to ask...why do we have British people judging AMERICAN Idol? It's the same with AMERICA'S Got Talent. Can we not find some Americans to judge these contests?
Everyone always wants to hate on Victoria Beckham. It just sounds like a lot of BS to me.
umm... that can't be such a big surprise
Paula like Randy Jackson bring a certain ingredient to the judging of American Idol. Unlike Simon their opinions always differ and offer constructive criticism to the contestants. She gives them the confidence and courage to persue their careers without being deterred by insulting critics.
I enjoyed seeing V on the show. I must admit I was horrified to see how emaciated she has become. She would be so much prettier with about 10+ pounds on her. Under that reserved exterior I have a feeling she's lots of fun to be around.
