Watch Johnny Depp's 'Alice in Wonderland' trailer

Alice_290 O frabjuous day! The trailer for Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" is truly and officially here.

Somewhere, Lewis Carroll is smiling down at Burton, surely his soulmate based on the amazing look of this adaptation. Everything in Wonderland looks as we'd hoped: Chaotic and beautiful and menacing and bright.

See pictures from 'Alice in Wonderland.'

Of course, the trailer saves the best for last, when Johhny Depp appears as a definitely mad Mad Hatter.

Watch me:

"Alice in Wonderland" appears in theaters March 5, 2010.

Its appears in the theaters march5, 2010. Oh it's really too late.

Look I love Johnny Depp and so far there's actually not one of his performances that I dislike. I also am a fan of his constant Burton collaborations, as they seem to bring out the best in each other. That being said, since when is the Mad Hatter the main character of the story? I mean this film boasts such an exquisite cast and yet judging by the trailer it's as if it's the "Alice (AND MADDY) In Wonderland" show. Anyhoo just venting. Other than that this project looks rather exciting and I can't wait to see the finished product. Compared to past works, it seems most like Big Fish, but with a darker touch.

Looks good. I wonder what kind of interest there would be for this though. I don't think too many people are interested in Alice in Wonderland.

I love Johnny Depp my whole family loves him, 2 daughters 1 grandaughter and even my grumpy husband. We all love him since 21 Jump ST.till the present day. My favourite movie was Edward Scissorhands. Love you Johnny, thanks for all the wonderfull entertainment. I visit my daughter and grandaughter in Lexington, KY.SURE WOULD BE A DREAM COME TRUE TO MEET YOU, I know your Mom lives in KY. Thank you again, Pat moldenhauer. UTAH.

cant wait for this masterpiece...

johnny depp is one of our favorites too--terrific actor and i think probably perfect for this role. Burton's take on this cl***ic should prove to be dark and twisted, but i would really like to see the Looking Gl*** Wars books made into an epic film in the vein of lord of the rings. now, that would be something to look forward to! this is a story that no one ever tires of, and is perfect for these times and our current culture!

how does it seem that the Mad Hatter is a main character? i didn't get that impression....

i DONT like the way johnny depp looks...is it just me or he looks exactly like ELIJAH WOOD!!!!!! its freaking weird!!!thats all i can think about when i see him, smiling..

For anyone who is interested... we just found out from the Looking Gl*** Wars website that they are planning to make this great book series into a film! this should be really something!

i also just read where Frank Beddor was at comic con in san diego last week. was anyone talk to him about this???!

One of the biggest question remains, does something so good could produce something that's the opposite? And also can Mia handle the role of alice exudingly well? See the overlook review: http://bit.ly/alice-in-wonderland-trailer-best-worst
