VIDEO: NBC's 'Day One' trailer leaks online
You can't pick your neighbors, and apparently NBC can't pick when its mysterious new show "Day One" debuts online.
The video, courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter, shows a pleasant Los Angeles day shaken by an apparent (and incredibly destructive) meteor shower. But wait! After burrowing underground, the meteors begin building some sort of biorganic alien structure.

We don't see what comes out of said structures, though a woman at the apartment complex where our main characters live claims to have chosen each of them specifically to help combat an alien threat.
The show's pilot wasn't finished shooting when NBC held its upfronts in May, so the network didn't provide a trailer or, really, much other information then. And this doesn't appear to come from an official source either: The video quality here is sub-par, but what we can see should make for a nice, compelling sci-fi series.

hmmmm weird
Looks like Cloverfield!
yeah i was thinking of cloverfield too when i was watching it
(Maybe its the sequel in television form)
Well it's from NBC so I'm not putting much faith that it will be good. They haven't had a good show since Friends ended.
To above poster:30 Rock?Chuck? There has been loads of good shows!
Yeah, but they're about to have a hit on their hands... from what I've seen & heard, this show is going to be amazing!
I have pretty much given up on NBC. NBC will not get the numbers they want for the show and walk away from it after less then one season.
NBC need to let who ever is running USA start picking show for NBC.
