'Vampire Diaries' newest promo pic
And on the heels of Comic-Con, where "The Vampire Diaries" cast partied with the "True Blood" cast -- yeah, it was weird, they were all packed into a corner, apparently fit for vamps only -- at Saturday night's Syfy's rooftop soiree, comes a new "VD" promo pic.
"VD"... ha.
Anyhoo, what do you think? They're certainly as attractive as the "True Blood" crew, but do you think they'll garner the same level of insane fan support?
Will you watch the show when it premieres September 10th?

i will give it a chance. it depends on how good the show is if i stick around or not.

Definitely will give it a shot. It's impossible to tell how well a new show will play out in the long run from posters and previews.
I wasn't planning to watch this show due to my annoyance with the vampire overkill in media today (especially when nothing can compare to Buffy). However I'll give it a chance since I am a fan of Ian Somerhalder (LOST) and Nina Dobrev (Degr***i: tng). Hopefully it surprises me, because if not Supernatural will be the only CW show I'll bother with anymore.
HBO has cache; the CW does not. And HBO has an insane promo budget that includes Twitter accounts for the main characters.
Vampire Diaries may be fun--and I'll be watching it, at least at first--but it won't reach anywhere near the same level of hysteria as True Blood.
CW is just picking through Degr***i's cast. First Shenae Grimes and now Nina.
I'll give the show a shot. Not too into the whole vampire craze though
True Blood is overated. Buffy forever. Alo another criminally underated show was Kindred The Embraced.

I'll watch. I've read all the books and liked them. Although the main character is supposed to be blonde and I've noticed they've changed other things from the books.
I tried watching True Blood and it never caught my attention. I have seen promo pics and the trailer from VD and it will at least get me to try it out.
