'Spider-Man 4' gets a rewrite
A new writer has been caught in the "Spider-Man 4" web.
Gary Ross, who worked on a range of films from biopic "Seabiscuit" to animated kids' feature "The Tale of Despereaux," will work on rewriting the superhero movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

We don't know exactly what the plot of the fourth movie was (or, for that matter, why it needs a rewrite) outside some vague hints dropped in June by Sony producer Todd Black: A wedding between Peter Parker and Mary-Jane Watson isn't in the works, and the villain will be a big part of New York."
Stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst and director Sam Raimi have all signed on for "Spider-Man 4" for a scheduled release date of May 6, 2011.

Its got to be Lizard and being in the sewers. I think Lizard and Kraven hunting him down and then going after Spidey would be a great story.
I hope its lizard and I hope its better than spiderman 3
in all seriousness. it probably will be lizard. unfortunately, this movie will not do well if it would be that villein. for this the reasons are 2, one, nobody wants to see some junk movie like that. yes the animated show of the 90s was extremely good and so where the comics. and lizard was bad ***. but you must remember. in those story's, peter/spider man both had a friendship with doc conners. they help each other. in the movies, he is just peters, professor in school. nothing more.
secondly, a forth movie with a week storyline would start the bleeding and killing of the franchise in the aspect of only the big screen. right now they need a strong darker story line with a villein that would be incredibly hard to beat and never to kill. (kuss that's what there doing with all the villeins and they are destroying any reason for peter to remain spidy, no bad guy no hero. duh!) but how about a bad guy that is insane, and yet still a smart guy! how about scorpion or electro? or maybe mysterio?
and spider man movies should never contain no more than 1 villein at any time. unless the character is going to just play a little cameo, they shouldn't even be in the movie. maybe mentioned but that's it. because the only movie that was able to do that real good, was batman 2 with mike Keaton. spider man writers do not have that sort of skill i think. there for pleas, SAM ramie. quit destroying the spider man franchise and stop sticking that camera farther and farther up the mans pore ***. your hurting the character enough as it is. your first movie with him was incredibly good. but you just do not have the skill to make good squeals. give the rings to some other director. kuss every squeal that you make is worse than the last.

x2 Logan is turning into ***** and horrid story. good plot. but the x men are trained to take on such things. so why bother making them look like amitures. xmen need to be fighting villeins from the comics, not some periodical brain child that never even had that much to even do in the comics. i don't blame SAM for the story writing. i blame the writers. but i blame SAM for taking the story.
darkman 2 need i say more on this topic. hardly anybody knows of this hero. thanks to SAM raimy and his horrid squeals.

so all i got left to say is that SAM is killing any future profits for the company paying for this lode of ****.

doc ock.??? why the hell did they pick this guy. in spiderman continuity doc ock is a joke. hes a smart guy but still a joke. he was never able to beat spidy. they never knew each other after spidy left middle school. and the man was a humiliation amongst his pears. now i would have pick rhino or morbious. not some joke with six arms. rhino can take anything spidey throws at him. (literally) and morbious can be stop but not easily, he is just as strong as spidy but he can also fly, and suck his plasma. not only that but peter and him have the same friends. which makes for a good tradgaty.

im sure anybody and everybody can already say that this movie was ****. i need not say nothing on this film.
but at any rate, these films would do real well if they where made into games and not films. it would be cheaper too. but the case in point is that, sam is killing the guy. they need new actors and a whole new team for this in order to save this franchise. kus, we can all see that this is no longer going to work out. they just need to stop making films, change it to a live action tv series and play that for 4 or 3 years and then make another movie once the hate dies down a bit and then try saving the series.
