Richard Hatch may return to 'Survivor'
Richard Hatch, whose mental manipulation and nude antics led him to a win on the first "Survivor," may return to the series.
Hatch, essentially on house arrest after being found guilty of tax evasion, has submitted documents asking a federal court to let him leave the country for the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The 19th season of the show will film in Samoa in August, but Hatch would be there as part of a 20th season filmed concurrently. Speculation fueled by former "Survivor: Palau" contestant Coby Archa is that the season will pit the series' so-called heroes against its villains.
Hatch had been serving time at a West Virginia prison, but was released to home confinement in May for good behavior.

Way to go Hatch! Legal problems aside, Richard Hatch is the best Survivor ever. He's the one that started the "alliance" strategy. And he manipulated everyone brilliantly.
I believe the judge has ruled -- news sites report Hatch will NOT return. Why is Zap so far behind on this news?

Drat. Everytime I see the name Richard Hatch I think of the gorgeous actor. Too bad it's this schmuck again. Never watched Survivor and don't plan to.
Let's hope he used the time in prison to get in shape!

Hatch's season was the first season i ever watched.....and the last. after seeing him naked, that was it for me!
He needs to go away. If they are wanting to bring back past Survivors I would prefer to see one with all contestants who were voted out first and/or one with the final 2 and 3 position Survivors.
He was already on the All-Stars edition. We don't want to see this guy a third time!
