Omer Bhatti: Confirmed as Michael Jackson's child?

In an interview with NewsOne/TV One, Joe Jackson all but confirms that Omer Bhatti, a 25-year-old rapper from Norway, is his grandson. Rumors about Bhatti's relationship to Michael Jackson have been swirling for most of the month after he was photographed sitting with the family at Michael's memorial service on July 7.
"Yes, I knew he had another son," Joe Jackson says in the interview. Of Bhatti, he says that "he looks like a Jackson, he acts like a Jackson, he can dance like a Jackson."

This ridiculous rumour has been soundly debunked by the Norwegian press (Omer is from Norway). Omer denies it, his mother denies it, they have provided evidence that his mother at no point was anywhere near Michael Jackson in the months before and after conception and Omer didn't even meet Jackson until Omer was about ten or so, and that was because Omer, a lifelong fan, had started to get a reputation as a first rate Michael Jackson imitator (Who would occasionally perform under the stage name Michael Jackson jr, which Jackson later endorsed).
Some confusion may have arisen because Jackson, flattered by the quality and earnestness of Omer's imitation, on occasion would joke that Omer was his son, during periods when Omer and his family would visit Jackson at Neverland or on tour.
Omer Bhatti is just a family friend. Does anyone really believe that Jackson, who by all accounts went to great lengths to become a father, and loved his children would hide and distance himself from his own first born child, especially one as talented, respected (in his own community) and deeply in awe of Michael Jackson as Omer is? This is a ridiculous tabloid rumor, and Joe Jackson is just throwing himself on it to pretend that Michael would trust that man with his secrets.
