Obama remembers Walter Cronkite video clip
Bringing home the impact Walter Cronkite had on American journalism, President Barack Obama decided to speak a few words to honor the newscaster who died Friday.
In a short, but heartfelt speech, Obama summed up, "He was the news."

A great man has just died. The President was only acknowledging that. Now if he took the time to record a few words about Michael Jackson, then I would have agrred with your harsh comments about him. He is doing his job. Just not as quickly as everyone would like.
