Nicolas Cage, Cameron Diaz buzz 'Green Hornet'
Just days after his faithful sidekick bowed out, "The Green Hornet" may have a lady love... and a nemesis.
Nicolas Cage and Cameron Diaz are in early talks to play a gangster and a lovely reporter opposite Seth Rogen's title hero, according to Variety.
Last week, Stephen Chow dropped out of the role as the Hornet's kung-fu master valet Kato.

Meanwhile, the search continues for a new Kato. Kung-fu legend Bruce Lee originated the role in the 1960s television version, so expect the role to go to someone similarly talented (especially since we haven't seen Rogen display action-hero chops).
"The Green Hornet" is set to sting theaters July 9, 2010.
