New 'Prince of Persia' posters unearthed
Remember when Jake Gyllenhaal was just the geeky kid from "Bubble Boy?" Not so much any more, if the one-sheet posters for "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" (based on Ubisoft's 2003 video game) are any indication.
Gyllenhaal stars as Dastan, the titular prince who finds himself battling a city of monsters after accidentally releasing the Sands of Time. He's aided by Princess Farah (changed to Tamina for the movie) and some magical items.

If the posters' taglines are any indication, at least the major plot points from the video game remain.

Jake looks hot hot HOT. The movie looks dumb dumb dumb.
the amazing thing about that video game was i could never stop playing it while also thinking "this game is so stupid". so. i'll probably end up watching the movie with the same emotions.
