Moon Bloodgood will fight aliens for TNT
"Terminator Salvation" star Moon Bloodgood will keep fighting malevolent beings in her next project, Steven Spielberg's alien-invasion pilot for TNT.Bloodgood is the biggest name among four additions to the pilot, which stars "ER" veteran Noah Wyle as the leader of a group of humans who resist an occupying force of aliens on Earth. Jessy Schram, Maxim Knight and Seychelle Gabriel have also signed on, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Bloodgood will play a therapist who serves as a confidant to Wyle's character and counsels children in the group who are still dealing with the trauma of the invasion. She's currently guesting on "Burn Notice"; her other recent credits include "Journeyman" and "Day Break."
Schram ("Life," "Veronica Mars") will play a young woman who rides a motorcycle and works as a scout for the resistance. Gabriel, who had a recurring part on "Weeds" this season, will play a teenager who was oprhaned in the invasion and now runs the camp comissary. Knight will play Wyle's son.
Robert Rodat ("Saving Private Ryan") is writing the script from an idea he conceived with Spielberg, who is executive producing. Carl Franklin ("Devil in a Blue Dress," "The Riches") will direct.

Wow, the cast of 'V' is really getting large, oh wait thats not 'V' (wink,wink)
Jason Dohring would be good teaming up with Noah Wyle in this show and he could play again with Jessy Schram !
OK so it does sound like a V knockoff but it is Spielberg so it will have great production value & the man knows how to tell a story. Hopfully this will be the next "Star Trek", because we need something new& fresh in the sci-fi world.
This show is just a three years too late. Invasion's been done already and 'V' has been done and is coming back as well. It's like the vampire shows, Buffy the Vampire Slayer started it off and now we have a slew of new vampire shows each on a different network. It will be interesting to see this one especially with Noah Wylie. I watched Journeyman and like Moon Bloodgood in that.
