Mischa Barton needs an understudy, how would you re-cast her 'Beautiful Life' role?
I'm pulling for Mischa Barton.
Maybe the girl will make a miraculous mental recovery, get all cleaned up and report to the set of her new CW series, "The Beautiful Life," on time next week.
But, you know, just in case she doesn't, we can't help but think about who could fill her role as an aging (aka 23-year-old) supermodel...
Recognize Alice Greczyn's gorgeous face from the dearly-departed "Privileged"? She could do it. Remember how bitchy she got when she realized Charlie was still into Megan?
But seeing as how The CW went with a "name" in the first place, La Lohan would probably have a better shot. She fits the part -- especially when she rocks the whole anorexic look -- and, I mean, come on, she's doing TV movies at the moment... "The Beautiful Life" would be a big career move at this point.
Then again, The network might want to steer altogether clear of actresses with rehab histories right now.
Good thing my very helpful colleagues at Zap2it have come up with several other suggestions...

I think the CW should dump the whole show and go back to pick up Body Politic...

I think they need to put THE BODY POLITIC on air next fall in replace of Beautiful life and this show could be for a midseason.
