Miley Cyrus 'Wings' way to 'Twilight' fans

Miley Cyrus and Disney have decided on their next movie project together, and no, it's not more"Hannah Montana."
Cyrus will star in the teenage fantasy film "Wings," based on the bestselling Aprilynne Pike young adult novel, reports Variety.

The film will center on Laurel (Cyrus), a 15-year-old girl who doesn't quite fit in after moving to the big city. And no, it's not just because she used to be home-schooled and is now enrolled in high school. You see, Laurel has discovered she's a little different. In fact, she's a fairy. Or at least that's what the new wings on her back seem to indicate.
"Wings" appears to be chasing after the "Twilight" crowd. Not only is it being produced by Temple Hill, but it's the first of a four-book series (sound familiar?). Check out the cover, which is very simple like the original "Twilight" book covers.

Yes, it is dumb. But then again, no one reading this blog is the target audience for this crap. Unless there are 10-yr-old girls reading this blog.
I remember what happened last time when Disney chased after the JRR Tolkien crowd. They did the Chronicles of Narnia which just isn't the same as The Lord of the Rings.

if ****-peddler meyer likes the book, it's probably a safe bet that it's unreadable.
and meyer would know a thing or two about fairies. after all, that's what her twilight series was about: sparkly fairies.

Miley's 15 minutes are up. She has no talent and is another trashy cookie cutter that Hollywood is trying to make money off of. When will the Hannah Montana/Miley crap end? Enough already.
Miley is not trashy. so funny when people say those things about her. they really don't have a clue at all and just go off rubbish TMZ is reporting or what they read on the cover of tabloids at the store. stop lumping her in with The Hills "actors", britney, lindsay, etc. she's way more tame. i'm not even a prude. i really dig the naughty girls, but going after Miley as a talentless tramp is a joke.
she's got real talent, but non-fans of her music/show have to hate on everything possible these days because their lives suck and they are jealous. what a jaded and hate-filled era we have to live in this decade. spewwing hate over acting news about an underage girl landing an acting gig. weak.
