Megan Fox, Josh Brolin get blue for 'Jonah Hex' poster

The stars of "Jonah Hex" have a mean case of the blues.

The poster for comic-book Western "Jonah Hex," unveiled yesterday at Comic-Con, shows Josh Brolin as the scarred bounty hunter and Megan Fox as Leila, Hex's gunslinging lady love.

We're wondering, though, why a Western -- even a comic-book Western in which the hero hunts a voodoo priest -- is monochromatically blue. Even the stereotypical dusty yellows would be better.

I'm thinking they went with blue to show that it isn't the traditional western. Many superhero/comic book movies have blue undertones because of their dark themes. Keeping it the traditional sepia would have been subliminally saying that it's a traditional western.
