Lauren Conrad wrote 'L.A. Candy' herself, could adapt into feature film
Though both Kristin Cavallari and I have publicly questioned whether or not Lauren Conrad really wrote her New York Times best-seller, "L.A. Candy," the former "Hills" star says she absolutely did.
And there is talk of turning said best-seller into a big screen flick.
"We're hoping for a movie deal," L.C. told the New York Daily News this weekend while partying in Atlantic City. "I'm working on [adapting the book into a screenplay] right now, but I don't want to commit to anything until I see all my options. We have a lot of exciting news in that respect though."
So who would play L.C.'s lead character, Jane Roberts, a girl who moves to L.A. and gets her own reality show?
Probably not Conrad since she's said in the past that she can't act.
Oh, I know! How about Cavallari?!
After all, she's a budding thespian, starring in the new straight-to-DVD release, "Van Wilder"...

yeah, i'm sure she wrote the book herself...with a little help from a lot of consultants and editors!!
I can't wait to see "Lez Girls"--I mean, L.A Candy. That Jenny Schecter--I mean, Lauren Conrad, sure has a lot of talent. ;)
LC has grown up into a stunning and lovely lady. that said, i still think Kristin will be more interesting and more fun on the show than Lauren was. LC was actually quite a boring character on the show, esp as the lead character.
Bore
I can't believe they want the slut to play it !!!!!
I want L.C. to !!!! come on people !
