LaToya Jackson claims 'Michael was murdered'
Michael Jackson's sister LaToya believes her brother's death wasn't just tragic -- it was homicide.
In lengthy interviews with a pair of British newspapers, News of the World and the Mail on Sunday, LaToya Jackson flatly states that "Michael was murdered."
"We don't think just one person was involved. Rather, it was a conspiracy of people," she told News of the World. She declined to name anyone she thought was involved, citing the ongoing investigation of Michael's death on June 25. She does say, however, that she believes those involved were scheming to get at her brother's fortune.
"Michael was worth more than a billion dollars," LaToya says in the Mail interview. "When anyone is worth that much money, there are always greedy people around them. I said to my family a month ago, 'He's never going to make it to London.' He was worth more dead than alive." She also says that large amounts of cash and jewelry went missing from her brother's Los Angeles home after his death.
The Los Angeles County coroner is still awaiting test results on Jackson's autopsy before declaring a cause of death. Last week, the LAPD said it hadn't yet ruled out homicide as a cause of death.
LaToya Jackson also says that Michael didn't want to do 50 shows in London, but his hangers-on pushed him to do that many to keep the money flowing. She also blames a "shadowy entourage" for cutting him off from his family and encouraging his drug dependency.
"I believe he was cut off from the real world and the drugs were a way [for his hangers-on] to get in there," she says. "They got him hooked on drugs. He was pure and clean and then drugs came back into his system. I think it shocked his system so much it killed him."

What a complete nutjob. I think we've clearly seen that there's not a sane person in the entire Jackson clan. They're like a circus freakshow you can't look away from. We don't *care* about them, but certainly think it's amusing to watch the antics of the insane. And that includes their "ministers" of choice, the moronic Sharpton and Jesse, both of whom are stains on the urban culture.
i sure don't consider LaToya Jackson a credible source by any stretch.
u know what they say-----------IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE!(NUTJOB)
To the nut name Jonah. Sounds like you are a racist pig and a nut yourself. People are entitled to their opinion. You need to keep this kind of talk to yourself.
You know, who is we,"we don't care about the Jackson's"? How could someone sell $50 million dollars in concert tickets in hours and no one cares about the Jackson's? And look at the enormous outpouring all over the world of love for Michael, his mom and family after his death. Who ever this is who says " we don't care about the Jackson's" is blinded with hate and evil, otherwise how could you ignore the millions of people from across the world who do? Michael Jackson is not a God, but many people love the talent's God bestowed upon him, he was not perfect, but he was the greatest singer that ever lived, and no matter how much hate you spew out online, his history and record speaks for itself, isn't it a shame? You will never will be able to control the m***es of people who loved Michael, Isn't it sad? Your few words online are just a blip in space, no one know who you are or cares, but when it is all said and done, Michael had fans, family and lived in Royalty, guess what we are still talking about Michael Jackson the King Of Pop. But who are you? Go get a life, if you could accomplish 1% of what Michael did I would give you some respect, right now, you're just coming across as hateful and ignorant, obviously the exact opposite of Michael Jackson. If the Jackson family so happens to read this article, I am just one of millions who cares about your family and for Michael Jackson, It truly saddens me that he had to die that way. I so, wish your family peace, unity and direction from God almighty in these trying times. I was just one more female who had a crush on Michael Jackson when I was growing up. I pray that God leads and directs you during your legal investigations and the real discovery with what happened to Michael Jackson. God bless you all.
