Katherine Heigl's 17-hour day on the 'Grey's Anatomy' set was her own fault, sources say
Keeping up with the Katherine Heigl headlines? Have you heard the latest?
'Member that 17-hour day she spent on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" a couple weeks back? You know, the one she kept bringing up during her press tour to promote "The Ugly Truth"?
Well, it seems that not everyone found her remarks appropriate, with sources reportedly telling Emmy-winning TV writer and casual blogger Ken Levine that the 17-hour day in question was Katherine's own fault.
An excerpt from Levine's post on the subject:
"Poor Katherine Heigl. What she neglected to add was this:
This "cruel" shooting schedule was only to accommodate HER and her
needs. The producers graciously shuffled things around so she could go
off and do promotion for her new film. Also, with union rules, the
producers had to pay a ton of overtime and penalties to make this
happen."
Hate to say it Heigl-lovers, but that does seem to make sense, doesn't it?
Then again, K.H. was totally kidding when she went around telling journalists and talk show hosts and radio personalities that she wanted to embarrass the "GA" producers by spreading the word about this torturously-long day she was subjected to.
Right? It was just a hilarious, hilarious joke...

Ken Levine isn't a source. He has never met or worked with Katherine. He's ***uming what occurred. You should at least check if the source ever met an actor you are talking about before you post "sources say".
You might want to read the NPR article so that you can be fair and not post only one side.

there was nothing hilarious about her "joke." Tacky, rude, b!tchy but not funny. I'd take those hours for 1/8th the pay she gets.
I completely agree with Leilah. There is a distinct taste of bias in this article. Korbi, we get it. You don't like her, that's fine. Can we please move on?
Further, not to discredit your source (who likely brings up a good point), but he doesn't work for the show and therefore has no idea what actually went on. It could have been due to other scheduling conflicts with other actors. Yes, she does have a movie to promote but Ellen Pompeo also has a baby on the way and getting her into as many scenes as possible is probably also a high priority. Just throwing that out there.
LOL.I am absolutely amazed that some people have the audacity to blame Ellen's pregnancy for Heigl's diarrhea mouth. WOW. Just call Heigl for what she is A DIVA and it is no ones fault but it her own!
um..korbi, who ARE you? i'm no heigl fan but i avoid trashy celeb sites like this exactly because of such catty posts with zero new content.

Bravo! I'm so glad the media is now speaking out on what a diva this woman is. I am BEYOND tired of her and wish she'd shut up already. To the writers who speak out on Heigl, don't let the m*** of teenage girls come on here and try to use their keyboards to bully. You are saying what so many both in the press, the media, the industry and even Shonda Rhimes herself had to speak about last season. MANY, MANY are tired of this woman. It's about time the press spoke up about it. On behalf of so many of us that not only have to read about this woman's outlandish behavior almost on a daily basis, but then have to put up with reading "hate" as a response to any speaking out about it, hang in there. The "hate" they display only speak for who actually follows Heigl's career I guess. But we thank you sincerely for putting up with it and reporting the truth.
