Casting Call: Jennifer Aniston stalks 'Pumas,' plus Jamie Foxx, Russell Crowe and more

Jenniferaniston_290 It's a big day for A-list movie stars: Jennifer Aniston is stalking "Pumas," Jamie Foxx will celebrate "Valentine's Day" and Russell Crowe is free for "The Next Three Days." And they're just the tip of the metaphorical iceberg.

Aniston leads the pack by following former "Friends" co-star Courteney Cox into cougardom. The actress will play a thirtysomething woman who unexpectedly finds romance while courting younger men at a ski resort, according to Variety. (Cox, meanwhile, will topline ABC's "Cougar Town" this fall.)

Vote now for television's best friends.

-- Foxx, meanwhile, is about to have a lot of friends. He, Queen Latifah, and Carter Jenkins will celebrate "Valentine's Day" alongside a huge ensemble cast, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie follows several interconnected stories on the aforementioned holiday.

Already on board are Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Shirley MacLaine, Bradley Cooper, Ashton Kutcher, Patrick Dempsey, Eric Dane, Topher Grace, Emma Roberts and Hector Elizondo. Whew.

Foxx will play a television reporter, Latifah is cast as football player Dane's agent and Jenkins will be a boy just trying to have sex. Filming is already under way.

-- Fresh off his star turn in "The Hurt Locker," Jeremy Renner is in talks to join Ben Affleck's crime thriller "The Town," according to THR. He would play the best friend and cohort to Affleck's bank robber.

Just yesterday, Jon Hamm joined the cast as an FBI agent.

-- Crowe, meanwhile, will trade his Robin Hood garb for more modern clothing: Variety says he'll lead "The Next Three Days" as a man whose wife has been accused of murder. The situation must look bleak, because the plot will follow Crowe's plan to spring her from prison.

Filming begins this fall in Pittsburgh.

-- And finally, aliens will have to contend with three new stars: The Hollywood Reporter says Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan and Michael Pena will join "Battle: Los Angeles" as a soldier, veterinarian and dad, respectively.

Just like the title implies, the movie will follow efforts to repel an alien invasion of Los Angeles. Shooting begins this fall.
